Ten crime scenes · a hundred cases
One case. One floor plan. One single solution.
Every person stands alone in their row and alone in their column. Whoever shares a room with the victim is the culprit. The clues tell you the rest — and nothing else does.

The shelf
What has been published so far. Every volume brings a hundred new cases, held to the same four promises.
What we guarantee
Four promises no puzzle book keeps by accident — which is why a machine checks them here, case by case.
- 01
Exactly one solution
For every case the whole solution space is searched. Not estimated — counted.
- 02
Solvable without guessing
A logic solver works through each case with the same techniques a person uses. If it cannot get through, the case does not make the book.
- 03
No clue too many
Every clue is removed on trial. If the case still solves, the clue is dropped.
- 04
The culprit falls last
If the culprit is settled before everybody is placed, the case is discarded. Otherwise the second half would be dull.
